Francisca is a young Portuguese woman living in Belo Horizonte, Brazil's third largest city. The arrival of an old acquaintance, Teresa, underscores Francisca's growing restlessness in Brazil— while Teresa seems determined to settle, Francisca craves her life back in Lisbon.
